HOW TO MEASURE CORRECT
Learn how to correctly take measurements on both your body and clothes
How to measure
BLAZER / JACKET
General rule, there are two types of measurements, body measurments and garment measurements.
The most important measurement is the chest measurement (No 1.).
All sizes derives from the chest. The chest measure divided by 2 is your size. A 100cm (40 inch) chest is a size 50 (40 UK/US).
BODY MEASUREMENT
1. Chest.
Measure your chest circumference in your armpit with arms relaxed down. Pull the tape measure tight and then release the tension.
2. Waist.
Measure your waist at the same hight as the waist of the trouser, normally above the hip bone. Pull the tape measure tight and then release the tension.
GARMENT MEASUREMENT
3. Center Back Length.
Measure from the collar felt to the hem of the jacket.
4. Sleeve Length.
Measure from the top of the shoulder to the hem of the sleeve.
5. Half Back Width.
Measure from the center seam to the sleeve seam.

GARMENT MEASUREMENTS
6. Inside Seam.
Measure from the crotch to the hem of the trouser.
7. Front Rise.
Measure from the waist band to the center of the crotch.
